I fully expected to go through life as in IT professional, having studied this at College and University and soon wracking up years in this field at the Office for National Statistics. I went from being a general IT support for remote workers to programming to database administration to data engineering and then side stepping into Project Management.
I became more aware of the benefits of soft tissue therapy through my own injuries. I'd managed to aggravate my right SI joint and damage my left rotator cuff while kayaking and loading too much during the gym. It was at this point, 11 years ago where I started getting interested in what therapies were on offer that could actually make a genuine difference to support performance and reduce the chance of getting injured.
I started evening and weekend training in London to learn the basics back in 2017 and became qualified to start trading mid 2018. Since then I've grown to average 100 appointments a month while still working full time at ONS. My goal is to one day become a full time therapist, offering a high standard of options from Soft Tissue Therapy, ScarWork, Cupping, Acupuncture and Hot Stone treatments.
It has a real pleasure and a privilege to be able to treat and support each client. I feel truly grateful for having found something that I have a genuine passion for. While its not always been easy & there have been some real bumps along the road, it has definitely been worth it. For anyone who has booked in with me or is about to do so, a big big thank you for supporting me, and making this dream come true.
I am always looking to get better at what I can deliver for clients. Feel free to get in touch with me anytime to book appointments, discuss treatment options, or to provide feed back
