Client Information

 

The information collected by McMullan Massage Therapy (MMT) is for the sole use of McMullan Massage Therapy. No information is passed on, sold or distributed either as single entities or as aggregate data. 

 

Client data is collected to help ensure that individuals receive appropriate, tailored care to meet their needs. This is to give the best possible care, while maintaining a high standard of consistency and safety. 

 

To help achieve this, information surrounding medical history is collected along with lifestyle, habits, hobbies and small details surrounding occupation. 

 

Clients have the right to request any/all information about them that is held by MMT at any time. For your own protection, requests for this information must be made in person & formal ID must be presented. This is to minimise the risk of fraudulent claims. 

 

McMullan Massage Therapy recognise and appreciate any anxiety surrounding any collection of personally identifiable information. Clients have the right to refuse to give any information they do not feel comfortable passing on. This includes the use of the online booking service or any online forms. Paper-based forms are available as an alternative during visits. These will be held on file, on premises in a secure, locked location.

GDPR Compliance

 

McMullan Massage Therapy is registered with the Information Commissioner Office (IOC) who register all UK business that are in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).  Records are held for a period of 7 years.
